Life can be unpredictable. While exceptions will be considered for illness, injury, family emergencies, dangerous weather, etc, a scheduled appointment is a commitment on both our parts to be in place at the agreed upon time.

Counseling is how we make our living and pay the bills. We are not reimbursed by another source for your no-show. It hurts us just like would you if someone decided just not to pay you for an hour of your labor.

So .....

Missed regular appointments will be charged full fee unless rescheduled within 48 hours. Again, exceptions will be considered for the reasons cited above. Unless you call or text ahead, an appointment will be assumed to be a no-show 15 minutes beyond the scheduled time.

Missed intake appointments will be charged $75.00. Recently, 50% of scheduled intake appointments have been no-shows and can no longer simply be absorbed. This may sound harsh but it is becoming standard practice for many health care providers.

So .....

Beginning September 1, 2019, when you schedule an intake you will be asked for a credit/debit card number and your card will be charged if you fail to show for the appointment. Your credit card information will be shredded after billing. Exceptions can be made for the reasons mentioned above.
